2022, pen and ink on 9”x 12” stipple texture paper.
As the days begin to lengthen in earnest, the sky and the ground are increasingly busy with life. A Blue-tailed skink scurries in the underbrush of the Phlox, Redstem spring beauty and Death camas. A Spring Azure butterfly lands on a Ballhead waterleaf, the Robins and a yellow warbler forage for food among the blooming Oaks and Gray’s biscuit root, wile lone Turkey vulture circles overhead.
