Worm Moon

2020, pen and ink on 9” x 12” stipple texture paper.

The Worm Moon, is the last full moon of winter and named for the earthworms coming to the surface of the softening ground. Snowdrops, Grass Widows, and small Lupine poke their heads out of the snow, and Dark Eyed Juncos feast on moths and Box Elder Bugs.
