Russet Crowned MotMot y Corona de Cristo

2019, pen and ink on 7” x 7” moleskin journal page.

A drawing created in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I was fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of the Russet Crowned MotMot perched in a Honey Locust Tree. The MotMot is surrounded by Corona de Cristo which grew in planters on our terrace where we stayed.
