Mouse in Mallow

2019, pen and ink on 6” x 9” stipple texture paper.

This is the first drawing where I began using circles in my artwork, and I haven’t gone back. I briefly worked at a pot farm and found a little mouse among the dried marijuana roots. Marshmallow, a common ground cover and herb used to help respiratory inflammation, frames it’s body.
